My New to Me 1989 MK1 MR2 Supercharged

Just drove her home yesterday. A little bit of rust around both rear arches and a 21 year old interior are the only issues with the car.

For those who may not know, this is a 1989 Toyota MR2. The car came in two types of engines, N/A and SC.

Recently the original engine went through some issues, the previous owner decided to swap in this 4th generation Jspec 4AGZE. Just about 1000 miles on the rebuild now.

The interior needs some work. Spent today cleaning out the dirt. I have some replacement vinyl/leather in the mail and will be reupholstering soon.

The next stop will be to have the rust professionally removed for good and a repaint back to it's original super-rare stock color, Ice Blue Pearl.

- AC removed
- Celica GTS rotors/calipers up front (+ ~1″ and bigger caliper piston)
- Drag DR16 wheels 16×7 w/ Sumitomo 215/45/R16
- Front Euro light housings/lenses (half amber/half clear)
- JDM rear taillight (Twin Cam 16 G decal)
